Gbenga Obayemi
Operations Manager, British Columbia

As Operations Manager for Terracon in British Columbia, Gbenga oversees multiple projects across the region, managing diverse scopes and complexities with a focus on operational excellence. He ensures that projects are properly staffed and resourced, delivered to client requirements, and compliant with Terracon’s HS&E policies and code of conduct. In addition to operational oversight, Gbenga is responsible for regional budgeting and financial management while addressing client and employee needs to maintain both high service standards and strong team morale. He also supports business development through industry relationship building and identifying new growth opportunities.

With a master’s degree in engineering and more than three years of industry experience, Gbenga has contributed to impactful projects in both infrastructure and mining. His expertise spans geotechnical and construction field services, and he has been part of notable projects including the Bow River Bridge Project, the Green Line Underground Utility Relocation, and the Blackwater Gold Mine Construction.

Outside of work, Gbenga enjoys playing soccer and spending time fishing, combining his love of sport and the outdoors.
