Glen Flach, P.Geo – Drilling Project Manager
Glen has had a diversified career in geology before joining the Terracon team. After graduating at U of A with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, he started working as a G.I.T on geological grass root mineral exploration programs for clients in B.C, Yukon, NWT and Alaska. During that time Glen gained experience with VMS, Carbonatite, and epithermal gold deposits. When exploration slowed in winter months, Glen transitioned into wellsite geology where he provided wellsite supervision on Athabasca oil sand drilling projects in Steepbank, Christina Lake, Pelican Lake and the Peace River oil fields.
In 2018 Glen Joined Terracon as a field geologist. He was tasked with overseeing field logistics and sampling for Suncors aggregate test pit program. As the program ended Glen moved into the field services team lead role at Syncrude where he led successful teams on both civil infrastructure and geology projects.
Glen has recently moved into the Drilling Project Manager position. He continues to promote Terracon's S.I.T.E values and has an 'employee-first' mindset. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking and camping.
